Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us through our quote request form, together with a limited technical record of that submission:

Contact and quote information: first name, last name, email address, mobile or other phone number, ZIP code, the type of insurance you are interested in, and any optional message you write.
Consent record: whether you checked either of the optional text message consent boxes, the date and time of your submission in UTC, the IP address the submission came from, your browser user agent, the page address of the form, and the exact consent wording that was displayed to you. We keep this as proof of the consent you gave (or did not give).

We do not use cookies for tracking, and this site contains no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party scripts.

How we use your information

To prepare and deliver the insurance quote you requested.
To contact you about your request, your application status, and document requests, by phone, email, or — only if you consented — text message.
To send marketing or promotional messages, only if you separately consented to receive them.
To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations as an insurance agency.

How we share your information

To obtain the quote you asked for, we may share the contact and quote information you submitted with insurance carriers and underwriters, and with service providers who help us operate our business (such as our email and hosting providers) under obligations of confidentiality. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell, rent, or share your text message opt-in data or consent with anyone.

SMS / Text Messaging and Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive text messages from DVN Agency is entirely optional and is never a condition of requesting a quote or of purchasing any product or service. We offer two separate and independent consents: one for account and customer service messages, and one for marketing and promotional messages. You may give either, both, or neither.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Data retention and deletion

We keep quote request and consent records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and regulatory recordkeeping obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, email david.narso@goosehead.com or write to us at the address below, and include the name, email address, and phone number you submitted so we can locate your record. We will respond within a reasonable period. Note that we may need to retain certain records, including proof-of-consent records, where the law requires it.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
